Yep, the pups are in daycare today. I found a place that offers daycare and socal (ie, no cages) boarding. The puppies had a trial a couple of weeks ago, and when we picked them up, we happened to catch the puppies when they were in a corner with all the other dogs barking at them. I wasn’t too thrilled about that. Anyways, I caught a cold after Hive and all the pups want is to play with me. I just dont have the energy for that, plus I have a fantastic blood test today that will likely take 2 hours. So I figured it was a good day to try again. This morning when I pulled up to the door and tried to get the leashes on the twins, Little Girl flew out of the car, charged up to the front door and wiggled her tail for everybody inside. If there was any doubt in my mind that the puppies weren’t happy there, its gone now. Hopefully I’ll feel the same way after we board them for 10 days at the end of July. Ugh!

This year I get to celebrate my birthday on a bunch of different days. Last weekend I was down south with my family where my parents gave me a gift certificate for a massage (and it was great), and Liz and Ella gave me a beautiful “sisters” necklace Last night Sean and I celebrated by going to one of my favorite local restaurants

I also found out today that I have Von Willebrands. Some sort of bleeding disorder that my father also has. Apparently most people who have it never even know, and its not a major inconvenience. But I’ve been considering fixing my deviated septum, and facial surgeries (which bleed alot) are a little more risky with Von Willebrands. Next week I’ll be going in for a test to determine if a drug they commonly treat surgery patients with vWD to minimize bleeding issues will work for me. Yay, good birthday present to myself!

Today on the way back from the bank I was waiting for a dump truck to turn into his job .. when he all of a sudden threw his truck into reverse. I looked behind me, tried to back up as fast as possible .. and at the last moment blew my horn, but it was too late. My hood has a big puncture wound, and the front bumper is all scratched up
