Movies I want to see

I’m watching the Oscars tonight and they’re reminding me how many movies I want to see. I might have to sign up to netflix again. Here are a few that I can think of right now :)

Stuff that should be on DVD soon if not already: Juno, Enchanted, Ratatouille, Across the Universe, Bee Movie, Gone Baby Gone
Movies that are still in the theater or not released yet.. the links go to their trailers, have fun! :) Definitely, Maybe, Semi-Pro, The Other Boyeln Girl, Be Kind Rewind, Horton Hears a Who, Smart People, Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Sex and the City The Movie, Harold & Kumar 2, Kung Fu Panda, Wall-E, The Dark Knight, He’s Just Not That Into You, The Happening

Wow… that’s a lot of movies! There are a couple that I’d see with you.. Definitely, Maybe; Be Kind Rewind; SaTC The Movie; and Across the Universe. And I’ve seen Juno, but would watch it again.

    I LOVED Juno!
    Enchanted was super fun!
    Ratatouille was great all around.
Across the Universe was soo good that I bought it!
Bee Movie was fun, but not overly memorable
Be Kind Rewind was pretty damn fun

I also want to see many of the movies still in theaters you list, esp Indy!!! I just saw Michael Clayton, Atonement, Away From Her and the Diving Bell & the Butterfly this weekend (all before the Oscars)! I really really liked Michael Clayton, and Away From Her was excellent too, though depressing from a “this could happen to me one day” standpoint. Atonement and Diving Bell were beautiful and dreary at the same time… I liked them, but I will never watch either again. That was a whole lotta depression for one day!

I don’t know if it was because I was super tired from the weekend or hadn’t seen most of the movies, but I fell asleep during the Oscars this year :) I’m dying to see Juno – I’ve heard great things about it!! Plus, it would probably really strike a chord for obvious reasons :)
I’ve wanted to see “Definitely, Maybe” for a little while now – maybe we should plan a movie outing soon!
