I was driving to the grocery store this afternoon when Capital G by Nine Inch Nails came on the radio. I then realized that I was thinking about a trip to a restaurant with Sean two years ago in Orlando. As the song played I tried to figure out why the heck would I be thinking about that restaurant, that lunch was totally uneventful. Of course it must’ve been playing while we were there, but then I realized the song isn’t two years old. Then I tried to remember the name of the restaurant .. and all of a sudden it came to me .. the restaurant was The Capital Grille .. I have never ever associated those two before, it was all in my subconscious. The mind works in some seriously strange ways.

I posted about twitter awhile ago .. and I set up my account, put a widget on here, and quickly forgot about updating it .. I mean .. I don’t find myself interesting enough to update ya’ll constantly. Plus I found this user [Fireland] .. who fills his tweets with the sort of nonsense that just cracks me up, and makes me feel not twitter worthy.
But .. while surfing last week I visited one of many blogs I check up on daily and noticed her twitters were all the funny & cute things that her 3 year old had said / did. I know so many of you guys out there have kids that say & do the cutest stuff, but don’t need to post a whole blog about it, or really, remember what they did to post about it later .. twitter would be perfect for that! You can post through SMS, IM, through their website & iphone apps .. So if somebody’s 2 year old has a meltdown at the mall you can SMS it to twitter and we can all feel sorry for you as its happening

I decided to see if I could reach the frog oasis today .. alot of the water that was there last time has gone. The picture on the left was taken 20 days ago, the one on the right is from today .. basically in the same place.
Here’s what’s still blocking me from reaching the pretty blue oasis flowers
Yeah there’s practically a lake in our backyard. Along the path out there I found 2 little pink flowers .. all by themselves.
So I decided to try to take some nice pictures.
That William Sonoma has an entire kids section their website where they feature rocket shaped spatulas, princess cookie cutters .. and pans like this??:

Anyways to those I haven’t shared this with .. my new internet obsession is Bento sites. Bento, from my limited understanding, is creating beautiful meals in little tiny ‘bento’ boxes. I believe its a Japanese thing, but its super cute, and can be really pretty.
Some bento sites I’ve visited:

You get the point, each of those blogs has links to other bento blogs .. I could serious look at the cute little box meals for hours while gobbling down giant plates of food 
Just kidding.
But I think these would be a great tool for controlling portion size, getting the right nutrition and getting your kids to eat healthy things by making them cute .. I mean look what these ‘bento’ women can do with rice balls & hard boiled eggs:

If your mighty mouse stops scrolling .. and ‘pushing down really hard’ while scrolling doesn’t fix it. Try a can of compressed air. Spray it all around the ball, it worked for me! I was worried I’d have to buy another $50 mouse!
But I’m wide awake now. All day today I was exhausted, just wanted to nap .. but now I’m awake. It sucks, really.
Today I designed a new theme for this blog .. lookout for it around May 1st.
Then I decided to go through my old photos and see if I have any good ones to share .. and I realized 2 things .. I pretty much stopped getting infront of the camera around 2005 and I used to be alot thinner. So now I’m trying to figure out how to get back to that smaller size. My gym membership is over next month, I should really cancel it because there are cheaper gyms around here now, plus if I can’t make myself workout at the house, there’s no way I’m going to faithfully make it to the gym. I need to start walking or running daily .. preferably with the dogs. And eating correctly .. because eventhough my nutragrain waffle with “lite” syrup for breakfast wasn’t too bad .. the double helping of fried rice for lunch was. I’m having a real issue / fear of eating turkey sandwiches or salad for lunch for the rest of my life to be healthy :\ But its seriously time to make a change since I have no energy and no money for new clothes (I actually dont fit into half my wardrobe).
I also need to get my hair done. When my highlights fade or grow out .. I start pulling my hair back .. when I pull my hair back, it goes flat on top .. which looks so ugly. I need to cut it short again .. short and cute.
Blah .. just a late night rant .. its really time to get some sleep. Hope everybody has a good day tomorrow!!
