Last October I found out about a fundraiser for our local humane society, a walk for the animals. There was a vendor / market place and I was totally psyched to get a booth to promote Furry Foto, but then I realized I had less then a week to prepare. So I scrapped that event, but made them promise to email me when they start planning next year’s event.
Well .. turns out they’re having a Mardi Gras themed walk this March! So I need some creative marketing ideas! Angelle especially, since you know some Mardi Gras traditions. I’m trying to decide if I should have some beads made up like you had at your wedding, or maybe some coins if I can get them printed with my info. I’d really like something I could pass out with a discount code, besides the usual business cards. Of course I could do Moo cards, but I’m just curious what else might be out there 
I’m also going to need more samples .. so free pet sessions for friends! Just let me know if you’re interested, We’ll set something up in February. And I’ll probably have you guys vote or something on what images I should blow up

As much fun as mardi gras stuff is, if it was me I would go with something that the pets could use all of the time so that they would continually be reminded of your company. Something like a tennis ball, pet food bowl, pet can cover, or pet scoop (all on this site). Then bring the “Mardi Gras” theme into it by decorating your booth with mardi gras stuff.
Or…
Being the chef that you are, you could make your own dog and/or cat treats and put a sticker with your logo on it in the bag?
Or…
Maybe make a minicalendar (or magnet calendar or something) with some of the best pictures that you’ve taken of pets?
None of these are probably what you were thinking with the mardi gras theme, but I like the idea of something that you could use again later, not just with the mardi gras theme. I’ll keep thinking though…

I LOVE the idea about home made treats .. I’ve been thinking all day about having a ‘bake sale’ with human food to get people to my booth .. and raise money for the humane society. awesome!
One thing they throw off float in a parade is cups. You could do cups with your info and people could use them at home. Most people I know in New Orleans, all of their plastic cups are from Mardi Gras.

Keri’s idea of baking is awesome! I was going to suggest getting mardi gras m&m’s with “furry foto” on them, getting balloons with furry foto on them, maybe decorate your booth with masks and raffle one off (if you can get some fun ones). In New Orleans, you can get pretty masks for $5! I wonder if they ship?
Deck out your booth in mardi gras colors and beads for sure. Buy simple photo frames (for you to put your best prints in) and glue mardi gras beads and feathers to the frames.
