I’m just wasting time until Nikki and I can get on the road. For those of you who don’t know, our friend is getting married in the Dominican Republic Friday and we’re heading down to photograph it!

We stayed at the Palms .. pretty cool, but it seemed really small compared to the other places I’ve stayed at in Vegas (the Venetian and the Luxor).

Monday night after the event that we were there for, we went up to Ghostbar to check it out. Last time I was in Vegas I actually went to this bar, but the outside was closed because of rain. The Palms sign here is actually reflected in the glass walls protecting you from falling off

Ghostbar has a glass window on its floor that lets you see all the way down to the pool area below .. we’re up on the 52nd floor .. which is technically the 40 something floor. One bell guy told us they’re missing the 32nd – 49th floors because of chinese superstitions about the number 4 or 40 and another guy told us they did the funky numbering so that it would look like they had more floors then the Rio.

Tuesday night there was a big production shooting a new Katy Perry video

And Katy Perry was there too .. I actually walked right upto her to have her take a picture with Linny, but she left right when I got infront of her :\ Oh well.

On Wednesday morning Liz and I decided to catch a few sights before our flight out of there. First stop was the famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign.

Then we headed over to the Venetian so Liz could see the gondolas

I made Liz play a couple of slots on our way out .. and I ended up winning $20 from a Price is Right slot of all things. My total win/loss for this trip ended up at +$5
