It’s a fun challenge but since I never went through and completed the full 101 list last time, I’m probably not going to try again for awhile.

Well until I’m really bored one night and decide to do it

I have the super bowl on but for the first time in years not only am I not paying attention to the game, I don’t think I’ve watched a single complete commercial.

I have a few updates to my 101 list, last night I started crocheting .. my mom taught me when I was a kid, and really this book just brought it back. I don’t think I knew the names of the stitches before, but now I do And I’m going to tackle that scarf soon! Also today after photographing the Konickis I stopped at the local library and signed up for my library card. I didn’t check anything out though because the one book that I wanted to get in the past was out. It was a book on square foot gardening, but I’ve decided to wait another year before starting any real beds. Also, this wasn’t on my 101 list but on my new year resolution post, I came home from the store today and actually chopped up my celery and put it in a bag and put my cilantro in a cup of water on my counter so both will be ready to use when I need them!

I don’t have any sub jobs lined up this week, I’m sure I’ll be able to pick up one or two as the week goes on, but I’m not in a rush to get back in a classroom after last week. So I figured this would be a good week to start a strict 2 weeks of South Beach. Tonight I’m enjoying some girl scout cookies, the thin mints will be fine in the freezer for a few months, but I know the tagalongs wont. Oh well.

Well I just watched a full commercial, the sobe lizard 3d commercial, I wonder if it was any good in 3D.

Oh! I didn’t realize the pictures from last weekend were up on Liz’s kodak gallery – [Lion Country Safari] and [Trying On Dresses]

Ok .. lets try this again [This list] expired last August .. and the last thing on the list is to start another one. It was really tough coming up with 101 things the first time, so this might be a progressive list. The first 33 are from my original list. I’ll just add on any new things as I think them up. Feel free to leave comments of anything you think I should add on

Also if you want to make your own list [click here] .. I like to go through the other lists for inspiration for my list

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

My 1001 Day Project ends on Saturday, October 15, 2011
e_daysLeft = timeLeft / msPerDay;
daysLeft = Math.floor(e_daysLeft);
e_hrsLeft = (e_daysLeft - daysLeft)*24;
hrsLeft = Math.floor(e_hrsLeft);
minsLeft = Math.floor((e_hrsLeft - hrsLeft)*60);
document.write(daysLeft + " days " + hrsLeft +" hours and " + minsLeft + " minutes left");

I think this is a cool challenge, especially since I’m not such a ‘goal-orientated’ person .. but I want to try anyways.
