In South FL we have burrowing owls at the medians in front of Publix .. Here we have Sandhill cranes! There are 4 here, 2 mated pairs .. And the let me walk up to them. I’m less then 2 feet away!

At their annual visit they both had blood drawn .. Big Boy needed a bandaid afterwards. Good news is they’re both healthy

When you have 4 hours to kill in Orlando 

I’m sitting in jiffy lube waiting for the convertible’s oil change and killing time by looking though pictures on my phone and found this one from the last shuttle launch. I didn’t think I had caught the shuttle itsself but i swear you can kinda see it. Follow the vapor trail along the palm tree and you can see the little light speck on the other side of the frons, just above the street light

There’s nothing like having your little one sleeping on your chest I also have little girl sleeping across my lap … Its hot here
