If your mighty mouse stops scrolling .. and ‘pushing down really hard’ while scrolling doesn’t fix it. Try a can of compressed air. Spray it all around the ball, it worked for me! I was worried I’d have to buy another $50 mouse!

It really bothers me when I upload an image to share and it just doesnt have the same impact, color & blacks, then what I see in my editing program. I believe its because of the compression from uploading, but I have no idea how to control that myself. Here are two images and I’d love for your opinion .. which one looks better (richer color)?
Wow .. I think I answered my own question just by putting the 2 images side by side. The 2 pictures above are the exact same image from my computer .. the one on the left uploaded into this site by wordpress, the one on the right uploaded into flickr.

WordPress 2.5 was released today .. you probably wont notice anything on the front end of my blog, but I assure you that the entire backend has been updated and its so clean and pretty 
The biggest new feature is their built in gallery support, which I’m about to try out in my previous entry. If you use wordpress .. backup your stuff and upgrade, I think its worth it!
It wasn’t flickr or youtube, but a plugin I installed a few months ago to look at the statistics of this site, just for shits and giggles .. but apparently it was screwing things up Goodbye wassup!
Also .. I canceled sewing wednesday apparently, as I’m sitting on my couch not in the craft room
and its driving me nuts. I’m trying to narrow it down, thinking it was the theme, but changing the theme hasn’t seemed to make a difference .. now I’m thinking its either the images I have linked from flickr, or the embedded youtube video, neither of which should matter, but it seems that it does. The back end of the site loads super fast .. so it has to be something on the front 
In other news, if everything goes as it should, I could be substituting as early as next week! I know I said it would take 3 weeks after my last post, but when I went to turn my application in, the woman told me I could schedule my interview without waiting the 2 weeks! Most likely its because I have previous experience. Anyways, yesterday I had my interview and drug screening, which both went well. So 1 week from yesterday I can find out if I’m clear and ready to teach.
In the photography business, I’ve started to publish my recent ‘shoots’ on a blog that’s linked to my photo site (email me for URLs, I dont want photo clients finding this blog). It was kinda neat to revisit my sessions of the past year, and see my favorites. Putting that together also helped me book my first wedding .. score!
Tonight I’m reviving sewing Wednesday, even if it is just me sewing alone I have some new fabric and want to put together a few aprons to sell online, and I have 24 zippers on their way for my ‘purse pockets’ .. so I can start figuring out a pattern for that and cutting up the cute fabric I got for them Link to that site is coming soon!
